Day 5 - After being in the hospital for 4 days, both Mom and Brandon are coming
home.

Day 4 - Saturday
Brandon and mom had lots of bonding time together today. I stayed home
cleaning up most of the day. Brandon's eyes are opening up wider to see
his blue eyes. Although Brandon enjoys sleeping most of the day, he stayed
awake for over 90 minutes while keeping is eyes open looking around all with no
crying. We caught Brandon sucking on his thumb for the first time while
getting his diaper changed. He likes keeping his hands folded together on
his chest. Guess his thumb got to close to his mouth. His feeding is
also picking up eating twice as much as he did yesterday. Brandon
gets to sleep with in the NICU one more night. Tonight he gets a shot, a
bath, and that awful looking tube out of his head. He never squirmed when
you accidentally bumped it. Tomorrow, Elizabeth and Brandon can come home.
==========================================
Day 3 - Friday
Brandon is now out of NICU and is doing great. He has no problems and the
sugar levels have not dropped. As a precaution he is receiving
antibiotics. This is the wires you see attached to his head. While
in NICU it was in his hand. It looks bad but its not. They put it
there to make sure clumsy parents do not knock the tubes out of his hand while
his is in Elizabeth's room. The tubes will be taken out Saturday night.
This was the first time both of us held him for any length of time. He
just sleeps a lot and his eyes have started to open longer than a few seconds.

Day 2 - Thursday
Brandon's day 2 in NICU
All the beeping and talking in is in the background and not for Brandon.
Elizabeth was still on some good drugs and could barely keep her eyes open.
All these photos were taken in the NICU. Since Elizabeth had gestational
diabetes, Brandon did not need to produce much glucose. NICU was only done
as a precaution and is doing great. He is expected to get out tonight and
be in the room with Elizabeth for the remainder of their stay.
